Lashawn Taylor

Lashawn Taylor has been a vital part of Communites in Schools of Mid-America (CIS) since 2013.  He is currently their Director of External Relations. Lashawn earned his Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Pittsburg State University, where he was an All Conference tight-end on the PSU football team.

His passion for youth education is evident in his experience working in a variety of fields from Recreation to case management of both youth and the developmentally disabled.  Lashawn is married with 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

Lashawn joined the Colonial Fox board in 2021. He was drawn to serve because of our dedication to education through the arts programs and our commitment to the development of a thriving community.
